Common mistakes

What operators get wrong

  • Forgetting voicemail. Google and the website agree; the recording still says "Open daily."
  • Setting Google special hours less than two weeks ahead — slow indexing means the diner sees stale info.
  • Using GBP "closed" instead of "closes early" for an early shutdown — "closed" all day suppresses the listing.
