Print and post by the office phone. Update quarterly. The night the WiFi goes down is not the night to discover this is digital-only.

The print version goes on the wall by the manager's desk and inside the fridge gasket on a magnetized clip. The night the walk-in dies at 11pm, the GM doesn't text the owner asking for the refrigeration tech's number — they read it off the wall. Re-verify quarterly; phone numbers and reps churn faster than you think.

Composite-typical numbers — not a real shop. Use the rhythm, not the figures.

When to use it

Pull this sheet out when —

  • When the dishwasher breaks at 7pm on a Saturday and you need the equipment vendor's after-hours number.
  • Quarterly review — call each contact, verify they still work there, update the sheet.
  • Onboarding any new manager — they get the list before they get a key.
Common mistakes

What operators get wrong

  • Out-of-date sales-rep names. People move; the account number stays. Verify quarterly.
  • Missing the after-hours line. The 9-to-5 line is great until it isn't 9-to-5.
  • Storing it digital-only. The phone is dead, the WiFi is out — the printed sheet by the office phone is the safety net.
