Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
Muntin Digital™ is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. The site targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the current internationally recognized benchmark for web accessibility (the 2.2 update was published as a W3C Recommendation in October 2023). Where 2.2 introduces new success criteria over 2.1 (focus appearance, dragging movements, target size, accessible authentication), this site meets them too.
This commitment applies to our website, all client work we produce, and the services we provide. We believe that accessible design benefits everyone, making our content clearer, more usable, and more inclusive.
What We Do
Accessibility is built into our design and development process from the start. Here's how we approach it:
- Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchies, landmark regions, and semantic elements so assistive technologies can understand the structure of our pages.
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Users can navigate and interact with our sites without a mouse.
- Color Contrast: Text meets WCAG AA standards for color contrast, ensuring readability for people with low vision or color blindness.
- Alt Text for Images: Meaningful descriptions are provided for all images so screen reader users understand the content.
- Responsive Design: Our sites work well on all screen sizes, from mobile phones to desktop displays.
- Focus Indicators: Clear, visible focus states help keyboard and screen reader users understand where they are on the page.
- Form Accessibility: Forms include clear labels, error messages, and instructions that are associated with their input fields.
- Video & Audio Captions: When we use multimedia, we provide captions and transcripts where needed.
What We Build for Clients
We apply the same accessibility standards to all work we build for our clients. Whether we're designing a website, creating digital content, or building a web application, accessibility is a core requirement, not an afterthought.
We work with clients to understand their audiences and ensure the digital experiences we create are usable by everyone, regardless of ability.
Known Limitations
We continuously work to improve our accessibility. If you find content that doesn't meet our standards, please let us know. We're committed to addressing accessibility issues as quickly as possible.
Some third-party tools and services we may use (like calendar scheduling or form services) may have their own accessibility characteristics. We choose vendors who prioritize accessibility, but we can't always control all aspects of third-party content.

Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly audit our work against WCAG 2.2 AA standards, stay current with best practices, and update our sites and processes to reflect new accessibility knowledge and technologies.
We also engage with the accessibility community to learn from others and contribute to the broader effort of making the web more inclusive.
