When to use it

Pull this sheet out when —

  • After Lesson 10 — print, walk to the front of house, check it matches the door sign.
  • Whenever hours change for any reason. The sheet drives the GBP update, the site update, the voicemail update.
  • Before any holiday weekend — plan two weeks ahead so GBP indexes the special hours.
Common mistakes

What operators get wrong

  • Updating the door sign without updating the GBP. Diners drive on the wrong-hours assumption.
  • Forgetting to re-record voicemail. The least-edited surface is also the most-trusted.
  • Leaving the holiday hours blank instead of marking 'Closed' or actual hours.
