The evidence behind the library

Every claim,
traced to its source.

When a Muntin article or tool cites a study, the study gets its own research note here — a plain-English summary of the finding, how it applies to a restaurant, and a link to the original. No "trust me, Google says so." Just the receipts, organized.

Research notes

How Muntin research notes are written

Every entry here started as an external link inside a Muntin article or tool. Rather than send you straight to a 4,000-word PDF from 2017, the research note gives you the headline finding, the key numbers, and a restaurant-specific translation in about a minute of reading — and a single link if you want to read the original.

No study is misquoted. If Muntin's framing drifts from the source's language, that's noted explicitly in "Don's note." When a study is outdated, we say so.

Or keep going
where you left off.

The research is here so the articles above it can stand on real ground. Head back to the Library when you're done with the citations.
