12 of 12 is the goal. Anything below 9 means the site is leaking bookings before the kitchen even gets a chance.

When to use it

Pull this sheet out when —

  • Quarterly — once a quarter on the live site, with a real iPhone, not a desktop emulator.
  • After any redesign or platform migration. The before-and-after pairs naturally with the speed-test sheet.
  • When bookings dip and the GBP audit comes back clean — the leak is on the site itself.
Common mistakes

What operators get wrong

  • Phone number rendered as an image instead of a tel: link. Click-to-call is the highest-converting CTA on a restaurant site.
  • Menu PDF that pinches on mobile. If a guest has to zoom, the menu is the friction.
  • Hiding hours below the fold. Diners check hours on Friday at 4pm; "open today?" is the question your homepage answers in 2 seconds or fails.
